Coaches Corner
Coach Caruso is encouraging all football players to begin their off-season workout in Steinert’s weight room, which will be open after school on Mon., Tues.,Thurs., and Fri.
Coach also recommends that college-bound football players attend College Night at Lawrence High School on Mon., 12/6, at 7pm. Parents and players will be able to meet personally with mostly DIII coaches to help with the college decision-making process.
Coach also suggests that seniors get scholarship information (with regards to football) from the guidance office. Coach himself will be compiling a list of scholarship opportunities that seniors should take advantage of.

On Monday, January 4 , 2012, there was a mandatory meeting held for all players outlining off-season expectations. There was also a handout outlining the 3 Phases of off-season training. If you would like a copy of the hand out, please click on link below.

Attention Football Players:
The weightroom will be open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for all football players. On Monday the weightroom will be open at 7 am, on Wednesday and Friday at 9 am.
There will also be a mandatory meeting for all football players after school on January 4th at 2:45 in the weight room (if you are participating in a winter sport and it conflicts with this meeting you are excused). The purpose of this meeting is to cover the offseason lifting and conditioning program and the policies pertaining to it. If a player cannot make the meeting, he or she must see or call me. Those not in attendance will be assumed not interested in playing football next season.

Coach Caruso strongly encourages all players who are not participating in a winter sport to start light workouts during December. Beginning in January 2012, a full workout schedule will be enforced. If you have any questions, please see Coach Caruso.
